Why I use twitter?

Becasue there is one period that twitter want the twitterers to send their reason about "Why I use twitter?" (I don't sure about real topic) so I sent one. And this is mine.

I saw @sugree use Twitter and he made slide show to introduce Twitter at @barcampbangkok (It's camp about technology and computer) so I interest in it.

At first, I tweet in private world(0 following and 0 follower) becasue I just only want something to heard my complain, happy story, sad story, my study, my life, etc... And I happy with it.

And then, there is someone followed me, @RainbowInTheSky, she is Italian girl. I wondered very much that there is someone followed me because I didn't tell anyone that I use Twitter. And then she and I become friend. We always talk together about each other life and cultural such as Thai history, Italian food and another.

But now, I follow more people. Almost are in science and IT industry in Thailand(someone calls them "geek") so I can know more about IT's news in Thailand and I think it's good that I can know people that work in this field(Maybe I can make connection with them, I hope)

I'm happy with Twitter, happy that can know what people do, what they think and another.

These are my reason tha I use Twitter.

ว่าถ้าnewแล้วไม่delete Memoryก็จะleakแล้วwindowsก็ใกล้จะไป

มีภาษาอื่นให้เราเลือกเขียน แต่ดันเขียน C++ ทำไมนั่น

my x comed back.

about my report last time, now i can fixed it. i copy x config file from live cd. i ran ubuntu live cd and copy file "xorg.conf" from /etc/X11 and replaced the old one. (for do that, you must have root authorized.)

after replaced it, the resolution was better and the position of screen come back at the middle of the monitor except log in screen. it's still shift left for a littel. but when i enabled desktop effect, it became normal everything. i don't know why. but now i have normal screen ubuntu.

and the last one problem that i found is i can't use thai on my keyboard. i will solve it soon. when i can solve it, i will report agian.

try to config x server and make bad result.

hi. i didn't write this blog for long time but now i come back to write it.

i'm reading book for linux newbie. it's very old book and i bought it when it on sale. after read it, i tried to config x server from example from the book. in this book present 3 commands(programs) to config x server. these commands is

1. XF86Setup
2. Xconfigurator
3. xf86config

but my ubuntu(7.10 - gutsy gibbon) don't have these. so i search the google for the way to config it. and found very long command that is

• dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

so i used it by don't have knowledge about this command. i don't think that it is text mode. oh. but that time i think that i will always enter and enter to make it finished quickly and return normally. but i thought wrong. when finised it, i found that my screen is shift left for a little and less resolution!!! i'm make exclamation. i don't know to restore it.

i tried to config it for many time and used another choice for brought it normally. but until now i can't do it yet. how should i do? i don't have knowledge about x server before. but i think if config save value in file, i will find the normal config file and replace the old. but how can i find normal file. i don't know it. maybe i will copy it from live cd. i don't know this will work? but i must try or reinstall ubuntu again.

tweet the twitter and found new friend

last week, i decide to play the twitter because i see sugree's slide. this slide introduce twitter and teach basic to use it. because of this slide i decide to play it.

this is my twitter, http://twitter.com/tanakorn and after i play it, i found it very fun although i play it lonely(meaning i don't have friend in my twitter). i think it good feeling to tell someone something that you want to tell(in my case, it's no one).

i think i will play it lonely forever(zero follower and zero following). but on last friday, i found someone who call "rainbowinthesky" follow me. after i visit her twitter, i found that she is italian girl. i chat with her through twitter and add her in my msn contact list(she said she want to talk about thailand). and after that i start to chat with her.

her name is rosella(i don't sure this's correct). she told me that this mean scarlet in english. i chatted with her for a long time. i and her chatted about my life, her life, thai and italian. i think it good that i can chat with foreigner because i will learn new thing about the world.
